Meal replacement shakes are a dime a dozen these days, and if you don't know your way around these wonderful weight loss products, it's hard to know what works and what doesn't. 310 Nutrition and Shakeology are two brands of shakes that have produced good results before, and despite what you might have heard, the two are more or less on equal footing. However; 310 Shakes and Shakeology come from two different companies, and as a consumer, it is your right to know exactly what you're paying for. More importantly, it is your right to get the most value from your meal replacement shakes, which is why knowing just what to expect from both brands of shakes will put you in a better position to make a wise purchase. 310 Shakes vs. shakeology comparison: Available Flavors You won't be disappointed with the range of flavors offered by both 310 Shakes and Shakeology. 310 Nutrition has 6 vegan flavors--strawberry, vanilla, chocolate, and limited edition flavors Vanilla Chai, Salted Caramel, and Mocha--and 1 whey-based Vanilla shake. Shakeology offers Chocolate, Vanilla, and Café Latte in both vegan and non-vegan shakes, plus whey-based Green berry and Strawberry shakes and a vegan Tropical Strawberry shake. Both have a healthy selection of both vegan and non-vegan shakes as well, but Shakeology emerges with the most variety despite having a few flavors that overlap. 310 Nutrition vs. shakeology comparison: Nutritional Comparison One of the main advantages that 310 Nutrition has over shakeology nutrition facts is extremely low sugar content (less than 1 gram per serving). Shakeology has 7 grams of sugar in each serving. If you take two Shakeology shakes a day, you'll be consuming 14 grams of sugar daily. Both have roughly similar protein (15g for 310 Nutrition, 16g for Shakeology) and fiber (5g and 4g respectively) content, though 310 Nutrition predominantly uses plant-based proteins (pea, hemp, and brown rice) in their vegan shakes. The vegan shakes from Shakeology also utilize plant-based proteins from pea, chia, and also oat as well. However, their whey shakes also contain quinoa, pea, chia, and a few other ingredients. 310 Nutrition whey shakes only contain whey proteins. Other shakeology ingredients list are pretty much the same as the ones you'll find in 310 Nutrition Shakes. Apart from sugar content, there are not many nutritional differences between the two. 310 Nutrition vs. shakeology nutrition label: Attention to Dietary Sensitivities 310 Nutrition shakes are promoted as sugar-free, soy free, and gluten-free, and apart from their whey shakes, they're touted to be free of dairy products as well. This makes it the more ideal brand for people with dietary sensitivities since Shakeology gives no such assurances. Shakeology products are manufactured in facilities that also produce wheat and soy products, thus cross-contamination is hard to avoid. However, no soy, wheat, or any allergenic ingredients are used in the shakes themselves, so they do have a fair degree of consideration to people with diet restrictions. 310 Nutrition is the much better option, though, especially if you have serious dietary sensitivities. 310 Nutrition vs. Shakeology: Cost Ultimately, the most bang for your buck will come from the product that offers you more for less, and in this case, that product is 310 Nutrition. We've already established that the differences in nutrition are marginal at best and even so, they do not warrant the significant price difference between the two shakes. A bag containing 28 servings of 310 Nutrition retails at $68. In comparison, a 30-day pack of Shakeology shakes will set you back nearly $130--almost twice as much. Even with its marginal superiority, Shakeology is blatantly overpriced, but there's a reason for that. Shakeology is under a company known as Beachbody, which adopts an MLM strategy, not unlike those used by Amway and also the Avon. In addition to overly biased shakeology reviews, another disadvantage of the MLM model is that it leads to overpriced products, thus the exorbitant price tag on Shakeology products. In conclusion, it's safe to say that 310 Nutrition is a safer bet when it comes to value, but mainly because it is a lot more affordable than Shakeology. You get pretty much the same nutrition from both of them although Shakeology will have you consuming at least 7 grams of sugar per day while 310 Nutrition will allow you to cut back completely. That said, the 310 Nutrition is objectively the better meal replacement shake for everyone.
